Earn Silk by Jobbing
On LSRO, silk is earned, not bought. Every Special Goods event (daily at 13:30, 16:30, 19:30 and 22:30 server time, 1 hour each) turns trade into silk: deliver special goods as a trader, or rob them as a thief. When the Reward Stash rolls its Special Goods perk, the next event pays double.
Special Goods Event
Off
Last event Oct 14, 13:30. Next: 13:30 / 16:30 / 19:30 / 22:30.
How it works
- Traders: buy trade goods from a Specialty Trader during the Special Goods event and sell them to the Specialty Trader of another town. The sale pays silk straight to your account.
- Thieves: rob a trader's special goods and sell them at the thief town — the heist pays silk too.
- The longer the route and the bigger the load, the more gold the sale brings — and the more silk, up to 300 silk per run.
- Fair play: a run pays only if the sale brings at least 200,000 gold and a real profit (at least 1.2× what the goods cost). Reselling in the town you bought in, or selling within 5 minutes, pays nothing. A heist pays nothing if the victim shares the thief's account, IP, PC or guild, if the goods are robbed right after purchase, or if the same thief already robbed the same trader in the last 24 hours.
Where to trade
| Specialty Trader | Where | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Jodaesan | Jangan | None |
| Elder Leegak | Donwhang | None |
| Sanmok | Hotan | None |
| Seopok (bandit trade market) | China fields | A quest first (traders only, Lv 20+) |
| Hounah (bandit trade market) | West China fields | A quest first (traders, Lv 30+) |
Routes run between Jangan, Donwhang and Hotan. Jangan ↔ Hotan is the longest. Taklamakan (Niya), Samarkand and Constantinople are closed for now, so their traders are not part of the routes yet.
Silk per run
| Gold the sale brings | Silk | Boosted (×2) |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000,000 gold | 15 silk | 30 silk |
| 3,000,000 gold | 46 silk | 92 silk |
| 6,000,000 gold | 92 silk | 184 silk |
| 10,000,000 gold | 153 silk | 306 silk |
| 19,500,000 gold or more | 300 silk | 600 silk |
Silk = sale gold ÷ 65,000, capped at 300 silk per run. How much gold a run brings depends on the route and how many goods you carry.
