Server Rules

By creating an account or playing on LSRO you accept these rules. Not knowing them is no excuse. The goal is simple: a fair, old-school Silkroad where everyone gets the same chance.

1. General

1. The official languages of LSRO are English and Lithuanian. Rules, announcements and support are available in both. If the two versions ever differ, the English text applies.
2. Global chat must be in English or Lithuanian. Any language is fine in private, party, guild and union chat.
3. Staff may act on behaviour that clearly harms the server or its players even if it is not listed here word for word.
4. Rules can change. Changes are announced on the website News and on Discord and apply from the moment they are published.

2. Accounts & security

1. You are responsible for everything that happens on your account. Keep your password private — staff will never ask for it.
2. You may register several accounts, but you may run at most 10 game clients at the same time per IP address.
3. Sharing your account is at your own risk. Items or gold lost because of a shared account are not restored.
4. Buying, selling or trading accounts or characters is forbidden.
5. Items are only restored after a server fault (rollback, crash). Mistakes you make yourself (wrong trade, sold or dropped item, failed plus) are not restored.

3. Real-money trading (RMT)

1. Forbidden: selling or buying gold, items, silk, characters, accounts or in-game services (levelling, escorting, unique kills…) for real money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or the items and currency of other games or servers.
2. Offering or advertising RMT anywhere — in game, on Discord, or on other sites — is punished the same as doing it.
3. Both the buyer and the seller are punished. The gold, items and silk involved are removed.
4. The only legal way to turn real money into in-game value is the Membership Token, bought on lsro.net. The token is tradeable in game, so you may sell it to other players for gold or items.

4. Bots & third-party programs

1. Botting is allowed (for example phBot), within the limit of 10 game clients per IP address. Botting characters are detected automatically: while flagged, half of the gold you earn goes to the Reward Stash and half of your gear drops are lost. Relog to clear the flag.
2. Forbidden: any program or modification that changes the game client or its memory, edits or injects packets for an advantage (speed hack, teleport, wall hack, item or gold duplication), bypasses the server guard, or attacks the server.
3. Bots must not be used to harass other players, for example by blocking NPCs, teleporters, town gates or stalls.
4. Attacking the server or other players' connections (DDoS, hacking, phishing) leads to a permanent ban of all your accounts and may be reported to the police.

5. Bugs & exploits

1. Using a bug or game mechanic in a way it was clearly not meant to work is forbidden: item, gold or silk duplication, killing monsters or uniques from places they cannot reach, getting through walls or outside the map, and similar.
2. Report bugs privately to staff on Discord. Useful reports may be rewarded with silk.
3. Spreading an exploit to other players before it is fixed is punished the same as using it.

6. Fair play in reward systems

1. LSRO rewards real play with silk and Magic POP cards. Faking that play is forbidden.
2. CTF & Battle Arena: no arranged kills, feeding, kill trading, or using your own extra characters to farm Magic POP cards.
3. Trade silk: no robbing your own Special Goods with your own characters or with arranged partners, and no other staged trade runs to farm silk.
4. Abusing any automatic reward (silk, cards, Reward Stash, events) through collusion, extra accounts or bugs leads to removal of the rewards and a ban.

7. PvP & behaviour in game

1. PK, job PvP, guild wars, Capture the Flag and Battle Arena are part of the game. Being killed is not harassment.
2. Extreme griefing, such as camping another player's resurrection point for a long time, may be stopped by staff.
3. Deliberately blocking NPCs, teleporters or entrances with characters or stalls is forbidden.
4. Trades and stall purchases are final. Always check the trade window before confirming; staff do not reverse trades.
5. Pretending to be staff, fake websites or payment pages, and asking for passwords lead to a permanent ban.

8. Chat, names & guilds

1. No insults about family, race, nationality, religion, sexuality or disability. No threats and no sharing of other people's personal information.
2. No spam, chat flooding, or advertising of other servers, websites or services.
3. No political or extremist propaganda.
4. Character, guild and union names and guild crests must not be offensive, sexual or extremist, and must not imitate staff (GM, Admin, Mod, LSRO Team…). Such names are changed or removed without warning.

9. Staff & reports

1. Staff characters carry [GM] in their name. Staff never ask for passwords and never trade with players.
2. Staff do not hand out items, silk or levels on request — only through events.
3. Report rule breaks to staff on Discord, with screenshots or video where possible. Do not spam staff in private messages. False reports are punished.
4. You can appeal a punishment within 14 days by contacting staff on Discord. Arguing in public chat does not change a decision.

10. Payments

1. Memberships and Membership Tokens are voluntary support for the server. They are delivered immediately and are non-refundable once delivered, except where the law says otherwise.
2. A chargeback or payment dispute leads to a permanent ban of the accounts involved.
3. A ban for breaking these rules does not entitle you to a refund.

11. Punishments

1. Depending on how serious the offence is: warning, chat mute (1 hour to 7 days), temporary ban (1 to 30 days), permanent ban, and removal of gold, items or silk gained from the offence.
2. Repeated or severe offences are punished harder. Staff may ban all accounts that belong to the same person.
3. Creating new accounts to get around a ban leads to a permanent ban of all your accounts.
